Today i will describe you how to setup new email accounts in cPanel, that you can use afterwards with a mail client like outlook. Read this post to find out how it’s done.
I assume that you already have a hosting account running cPanel and that you are familiar using it.
Time to setup new emails
After logging into your Web Server and/or your hosting account using cPanel, follow the next step to add a new mail account.
Go to the Mail section of the cPanel’s main page and click Email Accounts.
There, fill in the form with the details of your desired email account.
If you manage multiple domains from a single hosting account choose the preferred domain,( mail_account@example.com or mail_account@example.net, are two totally different email accounts obviously)
Then i suggest you to generate a password which is a safer option than choosing one yourself and write it down, or even better memorize it :P. It is a good practice to use difficult passwords containing all kinds of characters.
Choose the disk quota to use for this account or simply leave the default value. Be careful with the quota if you choose to keep message copies on your server, as it will get full soon enough. It is a better option not to keep your messages to your Web Server.
Finally click the Create Account button.
Setup outlook to use your new emails
